Using metaphors and similes to describe something as simple as a basement.
Starting with something everybody likes(food) and again with gold.
Mention who started the place if applicable
1.) Most are using abstract adjectives to describe their place.

It’s finally the weekend and for a college kid that’s a huge relief. Its time to relax and enjo….. wait a minute. If I am supposed to enjoy my weekend then why do my professors feel homework over the weekend is necessary? Regardless tomorrow is going to be a very busy day. I am currently trying to get ahead in my python class and that pretty much means playing around with the editor and reading my text book. Other than that I am wanting to play Dead Island a little longer to determine whether I like it or not and I’m hoping to get a beta invite to Diablo 3 (please Blizzard). Though beyond my actual entertaining events I actually have a ton of homework to do. Let’s see…. I have to write a 3 page paper for communications by next Friday, a one minute paper due on Tuesday, math problems, a resume, python lab, and I think that’s about it for now. I assume this list will only get larger seeing as how my college professors like giving out homework.

Moving on I am still looking into what Google seeks in in’t employees. I haven’t really come up with much, but I am working on it. I’ve also take more of initiative to become involved with this campus in one week than all of my high school career. I have meetings with cru, the acm( association of computing machinery) and two directors of Wired. As far a Wired goes a friend of mine and I are looking into developing an app for the iPad. Though if we are gonna commit to this project we would like to make sure we can put it on the app store. So hopefully we will be able to use Wired’s license to publish our app. Yes this is just an idea at this point. We are still new to programming let alone we haven’t learned objective C at all, though I plan on following through with this app. And with that I am going to publish this post now. I have run out of things to say and it’s time to go learn more python.

One thing i have learned from this piece is that shopping can be very complicated. I usually just wlak into the store and look around for things that catch my eye, but now after reading this it definitely changed my perspective of how the act of “shopping” actually goes about.

1st Entry

Well for starters i have always been interested in blogging but I haven’t ever done anything about it. So here goes my first attempt at it. Today I have come to the realization that if i wanna pass my math class i’m gonna have to learn the material on my own. My recitation teacher doesn’t speak English very well. It’s hard to understand him most of the time and he loves to jump from topic to topic even if they aren’t related. Moving onto my Computer Science professions class, I still hate it. The class is boring and its nothing what I expected it to be and I find myself falling asleep more often than not. Though i do have to thank this class for a couple things. First it’s doing a pretty good job on reassuring me that I chose a good major to study. Employers are constantly on the look for Software Engineers and they can start out making almost $63,000 a year. Secondly, because the class is so boring i have found myself coming up with cool research topics to look further into. One of these is to question my friends about the opportunity to work at Google. Yes, I have two friends have worked for Google as interns. Working for Google would be an amazing experience, I am definitely gonna follow up with my friends and try to understand the ins and outs of what a company like Google looks for.
